"We were recommended to Wiseowls by a friend. Our son started working with Tehseen and the team last year and it was clear from the start that they were very experienced in developing, coaching and supporting children who want to take their 11+ exam.
The team were very approachable and friendly and the way they adapted to the pandemic and to virtual learning helped my son immensely through a very difficult period, especially with no school at the time.
The pre-tests, workshops and intense revision classes a few months before the actual test were extremely beneficial and helped him become familiar with a testing environment, albeit a virtual one! I would highly recommend the investment in these additional sessions.

The town centre location was ideal for us but then when lockdown happened and classes had to move online this was done with little disruption to the schedule and I'm grateful that Wiseowls managed to keep the momentum of learning going in what has been a very difficult year. The resources provided are excellent and on the whole my son has enjoyed his weekly lessons as well as the additional sessions over the holidays - the summer sessions were particularly invaluable this year as he had missed so much of actual schooling due to lockdown.

"Wiseowls have a tried and tested approach to develop the core skills and techniques children require to pass the 11+ exam. The team are friendly and approachable and have made a great impact on my daughters learning journey as well as her confidence. Tehseen has a great understanding around the content of the 11+ exams and ensures all sessions address this well.
The mock exams and intensive revision further add to the experience and enable the children to become comfortable with a formal testing environment. My daughter has also picked up core study skills which extend beyond the 11+ and include things such as taking effective notes, planning revision and keeping to task timings.

My son joined very late and the team went out of their way to try and help him catch up as much as possible with the other children. Lots of helpful advice was given as to how to support him at home as well. I also recommend the pretest as this was a very authentic setting for the children and they then know exactly what to expect. The results and feedback were very useful.

"My daughter got a place at her first choice grammar school and I highly believe this was largely down to the intensive revision sessions and mock tests she attended at Wise Owls. "When Tehseen and her team took on my son from July to the 11 plus exam I thought it was impossible for him to be prepared in time for the exam, as his peers had started tuition 2 years prior. The support and effort that was put in to preparing him was incredible, the confidence and knowledge my son showed after every session was outstanding. The summer school was also superb and the after school sessions leading up to the exam were on point for the final touches.
